Woven Wood Shade

Our Woven Wood Shade series is distinguished from the Bamboo series by the materials used in building the blind. A woven wood still contains bamboo, rattan, and reed but also contains natural grasses and jute in the weave. There are three basic color styles: Lido, Mindanao, Sumatra.

The Lido Beige (#10303) is unque in that it is a purely woven pattern and contains no strips of bamboo or wood. This makes for a less rigid shade than our other offerings.

The Mindanao colors (#10304 and #10305) offer a weave consisting of three materials: medium width bamboo or wooden strips, reed, and jute. The shade is constructed in an alternating pattern to create a unique blend of natural hues and textures.

Lastly, the Sumatra colors (#10306 and #10307) offer the same component materials and weave patterns as the Mindanao series, however you will notice that the wooden or bamboo strips use in production are not quite as wide. This makes the strips less noticeable in the overall shade and can provide a more subtle look.
